The Illinois Department of Agriculture is offering the lowest prices of the season on 2027 Illinois State Fair passes and gift boxes filled with Illinois Product favorites, starting November 9.

The Illinois State Fair Holiday Sale lets fairgoers save on admission and carnival rides for the 2027 fair. Holiday pricing runs through December 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Holiday pass pricing

  • Mega Pass – $70: Unlimited carnival rides every day of the Illinois State Fair.
  • Jumbo Pass – $80: All the benefits of a Mega Pass, plus unlimited rides on the Giant Slide.
  • 11-Day Adult Admission Bundle – $45
  • 11-Day Senior Admission Bundle – $30
  • Blue Ribbon Cookbook – $20 for in-person purchases or $25 shipped.

The department said these are the lowest Mega and Jumbo Pass prices of the season.

Illinois Product Gift Boxes

The department is also offering its Illinois Product Gift Boxes, featuring a curated selection of locally made products from Illinois businesses. Two options will be available:

  • Illinois Product Favorites Box – $60
  • Illinois Product Holiday Box – $40

"The holidays are a great time to plan ahead for the Fair and support Illinois businesses," said Jerry Costello II, director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. "Whether you're picking up passes for next summer or gifting some of your favorite Illinois Products, there's something for everyone."

New delivery option for 2026

For the first time, customers buying Mega or Jumbo Passes during the Holiday Sale can upload their photo during checkout and have their completed passes mailed to their home in January 2027, provided the uploaded photo meets the fair's photo guidelines. Those customers can skip the in-person redemption process entirely.

Customers who prefer not to upload a photo can still buy passes during the sale and redeem them in person beginning in June 2027. All customers will receive an email confirmation of their purchase. The photo-upload and mail-delivery pilot program is available exclusively during the 2026 Holiday Sale.
