Western Illinois University's Office of Public Safety reported three campus incidents over an Oct. 21-23 period, according to its crime log.

On Oct. 22 at 4:57 p.m., a student was issued a judicial referral for drugs and suspicion of use in Thompson Hall.

On Oct. 23 at 3:44 a.m., three students were issued judicial referrals for fighting in Olson Hall.

On Oct. 23 at 4:30 a.m., a student was issued a judicial referral for harassment in Corbin Hall.

The university notes its crime log is compiled using the Illinois Crimes Code and may not match the crime statistics reported under the federal Clery Act, which uses Federal Uniform Crime Reporting definitions. Under federal law, the university may withhold required fields of entry when disclosure is prohibited by law, would jeopardize a victim's confidentiality or an ongoing investigation, would cause a suspect to flee, or would result in the destruction of evidence.
