Rosecrance Behavioral Health served 81,672 individuals in fiscal year 2026, the Rockford-based organization announced.
Rosecrance said the figure reflects its growing reach and continued investment in mental health and substance use treatment. The organization said its staff provided more than 253,000 hours of care during the year.
"Behind every person served is someone looking for hope, a family seeking answers and a community counting on us to be there," said Dave Gomel, CEO of Rosecrance Behavioral Health.
Rosecrance said it is opening outpatient clinics in more communities, reducing barriers to treatment and strengthening connections across its levels of care to support access close to home.
The organization said it is also investing in specialized services, including eating disorder treatment, sport and performance counseling, support for professionals in high-risk roles and labor unions, and problem gambling treatment.
Rosecrance cited national data showing about 40% of the U.S. population lived in designated mental health professional shortage areas as of December 2025, and that only 16% of people age 12 and older who needed substance use treatment received it in 2025.
Founded in 1916, Rosecrance operates more than 70 locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana. More information is available at rosecrance.org or by calling 888-928-5278.
