Macomb Community Unit School District 185 will dismiss students in grades K-12 early on Wednesday, Oct. 28, so staff can take part in school improvement activities, the district says. Learning will take place onsite before dismissal.

The district says students will be dismissed in the reverse order of a normal day, at these times:

• Project Flight — 11:15 a.m.
• High School — 11:55 a.m.
• Middle School — 12:00 p.m.
• Edison — 12:25 p.m.
• Lincoln — 12:30 p.m.

MacArthur Early Childhood Center will not hold morning or afternoon classes that day. There will be no YMCA After School Program on school improvement days.

The district also reminds families there will be no school on Oct. 29 and 30 for parent-teacher conferences and no school on Nov. 2 for a teacher institute day.
