The Illinois Department of Transportation says Illinois 116 (Harmon Highway) in Peoria will be reduced to one lane between Griswold and Cole streets starting Monday, Oct. 26.
The department says the lane closures are necessary as paving work begins. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers.
The intersections mainly affected will include the Martin Luther King Drive intersection and the South Laramie Street intersection.
The closure is expected to continue for approximately two weeks, according to the department.
