Hy-Vee is offering a new Holiday Meal Deal that it says can feed 10 people for under $35, or less than $3.50 per person, the grocery chain announced.

The new deal beats Hy-Vee's previously announced $39 offer and matches or beats offers from national discount retailers, the company said. It features 26 items for a traditional holiday meal.

"Hy-Vee is dedicated to helping families put more food on their tables, now for less than $3.50 per person," said Anna Stoermer, executive vice president, chief merchandising and retail officer at Hy-Vee. "We know customers are especially focused on value this holiday season, and the new Hy-Vee Holiday Meal Deal makes it even easier to feed more people for the lowest price."

The Holiday Meal Deal is available in-store and online from Nov. 2 through Dec. 24.

  • Hy-Vee Cut Green Beans (three 14.5-oz. cans)
  • Hy-Vee Whole Kernel Golden Corn (three 15.25-oz. cans)
  • Hy-Vee Cream of Mushroom Soup (one 10.5-oz. can)
  • Hy-Vee Salted Crispy Onions (one 6-oz. bag)
  • Hy-Vee Corn Muffin Mix (two 8.5-oz. boxes)
  • Hy-Vee One Step Russet Potatoes (one 5-lb. bag)
  • Ocean Spray Fresh Cranberries (one 12-oz. bag)
  • Fresh Sweet Potatoes (three potatoes)

Hy-Vee is also offering a Gluten-Free Holiday Meal Deal option for $50 or less.

In addition, Hy-Vee is offering a variety of premade holiday meal options for parties of 2 to 12, including a choice of protein with prepared sides that only require reheating. Customers can place orders through their local Hy-Vee store or at Hy-Vee.com until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 24 for Thanksgiving and until 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 22 for Christmas.

Customers can schedule delivery or pick-up at their local store. While all Hy-Vee stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, premade holiday meals can be picked up from 8 to 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day and until 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Hy-Vee will also offer its "Buy a ham, get a turkey free" promotion throughout the month of November at all locations.
