The CGH Health Foundation's 14th annual Delicious Designs virtual silent auction opens Monday, Oct. 19, the Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce announced.
Bidding begins at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, and runs through 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. The online auction features gift baskets, desserts, experiences, services, gift cards and wish list items for CGH patients.
Shopatizer preview event
According to the CGH Health Foundation's website, the Foundation will also host a "Shopatizer" event on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at 2600 N. Locust Street in Sterling. The website says the event offers free cocktails and appetizers, an early look at the auction baskets and a chance to bid early and take a basket home that night.
What the auction supports
The Foundation's website says this year's event focuses on cancer comfort care — including meals during chemotherapy, comfort bags, turbans, scarves and post-surgical camisoles — an Oncology Care Coordinator position, and the Foundation's Dementia Project.
The Foundation's website also offers virtual table sponsorships for $300, which include the sponsor's name displayed on a table during the Shopatizer event and a social media spotlight.
