Cynthia Stewart of Memorial Hospital & Hancock County Senior & Childcare Services in Carthage has received the Individual Achievement Award from the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations, the organization's highest honor.
The award was presented at the society's Annual Conference and Pinnacle Awards, held Oct. 6-8 at the Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront, according to the hospital.
Stewart holds a Master of Health Administration and serves as director of marketing, communications and public relations for the hospital.

The Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations, or ISHMPR, is a membership organization of healthcare marketing and communications professionals and an affiliate of the Illinois Health and Hospital Association.
