The Morrison Chamber of Commerce is welcoming Citizens First Bank to downtown Morrison as the community bank expands into Illinois.
The bank's new Morrison location is at 100 W. Lincolnway, Suite B, according to the chamber. Citizens First Bank, founded in 2000, has established locations in Clinton and Camanche, Iowa, and says it is bringing its customer-focused approach to Morrison.
The chamber says the bank will offer a full range of financial services, including personal banking, business banking, mortgage lending and agricultural banking. More information is available at www.gocfb.bank.
According to the bank's website, Citizens First Bank is headquartered at 1442 Lincoln Way in Clinton, Iowa, and operates branches in Clinton and in Camanche. The bank's stated mission is to put customers first and deliver personal service.
New debit card honors Morrison Covered Bridge
As it grows into the Morrison community, Citizens First Bank has introduced a new "Bridge" debit card design featuring the Morrison Covered Bridge, photographed by local photographer Leslie Harridge. The chamber says the design is available now for the bank's personal debit card customers. Details are posted on the bank's website.
Fall Fest & Costume Parade recap
The chamber also thanked the community for this year's Morrison Fall Fest & Costume Parade, which included a costume parade and trunk-or-treat. The chamber credited vendors, trunk decorators and volunteers for the event.
The chamber gave special thanks to the Huizenga Family for setting up games and to the Morrison Garden Club for supplying pumpkins for painting.
