(SRN NEWS)- Under threat of a lawsuit by the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the firehouse in Diamond has taken down the Christian flag it had been flying. The flag, which many churches fly, is mostly white with a red cross on a field of blue. The Foundation claims it is a symbol of “white Christian nationalism” and violates the so-called separation of church and state. The Foundation spends most of its time trying to scour religious imagery from the public square.
